Classic Pina Colada

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2 oz cream of coconut
  • 2 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice optional
  • 1 cup ice
For garnish
  • Pineapple slice
  • Maraschino cherry

Method
 

  1. Add frozen pineapple chunks to a blender.
  2. Pour in pineapple juice and cream of coconut.
  3. Add white rum and lime juice (if using).
  4. Add ice and blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass.
  6. Garnish with a pineapple slice and cherry.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use cream of coconut (not coconut cream) for the best flavor
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less cream of coconut
  • For a thicker drink, add more frozen pineapple or ice
